Flea Treatments
Fleas attach to your pets and make a meal off the blood when they bite. And while they’re hitching a ride into your home on your dog or cat, they’ll produce eggs within 48 hours of a blood meal. Fleas can also take refuge in carpet, bedding, and upholstered furniture – another haven for continuous egg-laying. Fleas can live in the cracks of hardwood floors and at the edge of tiles. So, if you find fleas in your home, act quickly to eliminate them indoors and out in your yard.
While there are DIY options for your spaces and medications for your pets, sometimes you need a professional’s sledgehammer to kill off these unwanted intruders. Pioneer offers treatments that involve a combination of chemicals – one that kills adult fleas and another that prevents eggs from hatching and young fleas from maturing. Exterior spraying is also available if there is an infestation in the yard.
Advance preparation for our flea treatments is required, and follow-up flea treatments may be necessary for complete elimination because of the life cycle of eggs, larvae.
